Job summary

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a registered nurse for our Level I Trauma Center acute care unit. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, evidence-based care in a fast-paced trauma environment.

Minimum qualifications include completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license in the state(s) where practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience.
• Typically requires 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Engages in the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure safe, evidence-based care across the continuum.
