Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center STICU is seeking a skilled RN to coordinate comprehensive care for trauma ICU patients. The unit focuses on critical care monitoring, surgical interventions, and post‑operative recovery within a 32‑bed setting.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS is required within 6 months. Inpatient RN experience is preferred. This on‑site position sits in Charlotte, NC.

Where you will work:

The Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) at Carolinas Medical Center is a 32 bed unit. Primary focus is on patients with traumatic injuries requiring critical care monitoring, surgical interventions, post-surgical monitoring for optimal recovery.

We're Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS Required within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
