Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Georgia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Surgical Trauma ICU, a 14-bed unit focused on surgical and traumatic injuries. This full-time night shift role (36 hours per week) requires BLS, RN license, and typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience, with BSN preferred.

You will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, document in EHR, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in GA.
• BLS certification (required).
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Ability to float to other units within the designated service area.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care; engages patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
