Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA is seeking an experienced RN to join the Ortho Trauma unit on a 36-hour work week. The unit provides high-energy care for orthopedic and trauma patients, with patient ratios around 1:5 and strong teamwork.

The role requires a GA RN license and BLS; BSN preferred; pay range listed is $38.20–$57.30 per hour. You will participate in governance, quality initiatives, and document care in the EHR.

Qualifications

• RN license in GA or eligible for GA licensure
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
• BSN preferred for this role, with ongoing professional development

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and follows safety standards.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
