Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides care.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies according to protocols.
• Communicates effectively and supports team collaboration and delegation.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications.
