Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City is seeking an Experienced RN for the Trauma ICU on days. The RN I works under general supervision, delivering high-quality care to patients with a range of conditions while upholding OU Health's core values and professional standards.

Responsibilities include documenting patient responses, assisting physicians, monitoring physiologic data, administering medications, initiating IVs, and coordinating care with the team.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 0-3 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse.
• Current RN license (OK or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Align behaviors with OU Health values and nursing standards.
• Assume responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Document patient responses to interventions and orders.
• Assist physicians in examinations and minor procedures.
• Obtain and monitor physiological data and intervene as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor infusions.
• Deliver safe, competent patient care and coordinate discharge planning.
