Zusammenfassung

UAB Medicine seeks an advanced practice clinician (APN PA) to provide high-quality acute care in the TBICU/NICU. You will perform daily patient assessments, ventilator management, and develop plans of care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Master's in Nursing with ACNP or PA certification is required; BLS and unit-specific certifications may be needed. Eligible for PSLF; includes CME allowance and weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Nursing with an Acute Care NP certification or graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.

Aufgaben

• Provide medical care within scope of practice under physician supervision.
• Coordinate plan of care, discharge, and specialty referrals as age-appropriate.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments; interpret medical records and social data.
• Coordinate performance improvement activities and participate in research protocols when needed.
