Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Clinical RN Coordinator for the Trauma ICU to oversee nursing care and unit operations each shift. You’ll collaborate with the management team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes and adherence to best practices.

The CNC will drive workforce scheduling, staff development, and compliance with policies while supporting a patient-first culture and continuous improvement through quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 60 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation within 90 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse with diploma or associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit with management.
• Collaborates with managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Implements nursing strategies, including employee rounding and hourly rounds, to improve engagement.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff and actions to ensure organizational improvement.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and helps manage supplies and equipment.
