The CNC ensures high-quality, coordinated care, directs nursing activities on shift, and serves as a resource while supporting the organization’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with appropriate state license.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• ACLS and BCLS to be obtained within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and quality care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of patient care quality with management.
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork for better outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Implements nursing strategies like hourly rounds to improve engagement.
• Guides interviewing, staffing, training, and performance actions as needed.
• Manages staff scheduling and labor within productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
