Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• State licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or Counselor is required.
• Specialized training or experience in trauma-focused therapies is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prior experience in short-term therapy, particularly with personal injuries, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan treatment to understand psychological impact of personal injuries and develop short-term plans.
• Provide evidence-based short-term therapy addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, and related issues.
• Respond to crises and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
• Educate clients on injury-related psychological effects and coping strategies.
