Job summary

Empower Mental Health PLLC seeks a licensed mental health therapist (LPC or LCSW) to support personal injury recovery through short-term therapy, including trauma-informed approaches, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, education, and documentation for legal or insurance purposes, while upholding ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• State licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or Counselor.
• Specialized training or experience in trauma-focused therapies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prior experience in short-term therapy, particularly with clients who have experienced personal injuries.
• Familiarity with relevant legal and insurance considerations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop short-term treatment plans for clients with personal injuries.
• Provide trauma-informed CBT, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based therapies.
• Respond to crises and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
• Educate clients and develop coping strategies for recovery.
• Maintain progress notes and treatment plans for legal or insurance purposes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and report updates on progress.
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld.
