Job summary

The Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma is seeking a board-certified Acute Care Surgeon in Springfield, Missouri. This role includes responsibilities in trauma and acute care surgery within a respected Level I Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in General Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care required.
• Strong clinical and operative skills across trauma, emergency general surgery, and ICU care.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical responsibilities in trauma surgery, acute care surgery, and critical care management.
• Collaborate with a group of eight Acute Care Surgeons.
• Participate in resident education, mentorship, and clinical research if interested.

Skills

Clinical and operative skills across trauma and emergency general surgery

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Education
