Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma seeks an Acute Care Surgeon for its flagship hospital in Peoria, Illinois. This position involves teaching at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and developing clinical skills in a Level 1 trauma center with a supportive collegial culture.

Qualified candidates must be board-certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, possess ATLS certification, and demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching. A competitive salary range of $524,000–$642,000 is offered along with various benefits.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Board-certified or eligible in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
• Successful academic appointment at the University of Illinois College of Medicine required.

Responsabilités

• Teaching medical students, surgical residents, surgical fellows, and other learners.
• Practicing at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, a Level 1 center.
• Contribute to the surgical team and engage in professional growth.
