Job summary

Extant Healthcare's Centerpoint Medical Center in Kansas City, MO seeks a Trauma/ACS Surgeon to provide urgent trauma care, perform emergency surgeries, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate holds Board Certification in General Surgery with Fellowship in Trauma Surgery, an active Missouri license, and ATLS certification.

You will participate in trauma call rotations and help advance patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Board certification in General Surgery and fellowship in Trauma Surgery required.
• Current, unrestricted Missouri medical license.
• ATLS certification and strong communication under pressure; ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency surgical procedures for trauma patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Participate in trauma call rotation.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical techniques and trauma care advancements.
