Job summary

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, seeks full-time general/trauma/surgical critical care surgeons to join the Division of Trauma, Critical Care & General Surgery. The practice includes 24/7 coverage of emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, and our Level 1 Trauma Center in addition to team-based and individual elective surgery.

Board-certified or eligible in General Surgery with fellowship in surgical critical care is required.

Qualifications

• Board certification/eligibility in General Surgery is required.
• Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care completed or eligible.
• Relocation package available to successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 coverage for emergency general surgery and surgical critical care.
• Support Level 1 Trauma Center operations and team-based elective surgeries.
• Engage in clinical research and development, including data science/AI initiatives.
