Britt Medical Search represents a BE/BC Trauma/Critical Care Surgeon joining an employed surgical group in Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Region. The role starts as daytime acute care surgeon for urgent and emergency general-surgery cases.

The position is planned to evolve into a rotating hospital-based surgicalist model with the trauma and critical care team, with inpatient rounding and trauma call responsibilities, collaborating with emergency medicine and surgical colleagues.

Qualifications

• BE/BC Trauma/Critical Care Surgeon.
• Able to provide daytime acute care for urgent and emergency general-surgery cases.
• Willingness to evolve into a hospital-based surgicalist model with the trauma and critical care team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as daytime acute care surgeon for urgent and emergency general-surgery cases.
• Share inpatient rounding for trauma and surgical critical care patients.
• Participate in trauma call (8–10 calls monthly) and shared elective general-surgery call.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine and surgical specialists for timely intervention and coordinated inpatient care.
