Britt Medical Search represents a BE/BC Trauma/Critical Care Surgeon joining an employed surgical group in Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Region. The role starts as daytime acute care surgeon for urgent and emergency general-surgery cases.

The position is planned to evolve into a rotating hospital-based surgicalist model with the trauma and critical care team, with inpatient rounding and trauma call responsibilities, collaborating with emergency medicine and surgical colleagues.

Qualifications

Practice & Schedule

• Initially serve as the daytime acute care surgeon for urgent and emergency general-surgery cases.
• Role is planned to evolve into a rotating hospital-based surgicalist model with the trauma and critical care team.

• Participate in trauma call, approximately 8-10 calls monthly, plus shared elective general-surgery call.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, hospital medicine and surgical specialists to support timely intervention and coordinated inpatient care.
