Job summary

Beacon Kalamazoo Surgical Specialties in Kalamazoo, Michigan, seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Trauma Surgeon to join our growing surgical team within a physician-led, integrated health system.

The role provides the full spectrum of trauma surgery, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care in a Level II Trauma Center, with strong multidisciplinary support and opportunities to participate in quality improvement, education, and leadership initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
• Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care preferred.
• Physician licensure in Michigan or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full spectrum of trauma surgery, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of subspecialists, hospitalists, APPs, and nurses.
• Engage in quality improvement, trauma program development, education, and leadership initiatives.
