Harris Health in Houston, TX seeks a Trauma Coordinator to streamline care for admitted trauma patients, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive quality outcomes. The role emphasizes patient care coordination, education, data collection and research, leveraging TNCC/ACLS/PALS and Texas RN licensure to support our Magnet-designated hospitals and safety-net mission.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• CAISS or CSTR certification within 2 years of hire.
• CEN and CCRN/TCRN preferred.
• RN licensure in Texas.
• TNCC, ACLS and PALS completed.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all services to meet trauma patients' health needs.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary communication and collaboration.
• Initiate new consultations and participate in quality assessment/audit.
• Lead education, data collection/reporting and research activities.
• Promote quality outcomes and cost-effective care.
