Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Columbus, OH is seeking a capable bartender to join our on-site team. You will mix cocktails, serve beverages, maintain bar cleanliness, and engage guests with friendly, attentive service.

Qualifications

• Must have the knowledge and ability to mix a variety of cocktails.

• Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to a smoking environment.
• Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must pass a background check.

Job Summary

Responsible for precise and proper mixing, controlling, dispensing, preparing and serving of a variety of beverages, liquors, beers and fine wines. Maintaining Family Style Service while also ensuring proper serving techniques.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

• Responsible for precise and proper mixing, controlling, dispensing, preparing and serving of a variety of beverages, liquors, beers and fine wines.
• Will maintain the cleanliness of coolers, bar equipment, glassware, decanters and any other service items associated with beverage service.
• Explain and sell all types of beverages to bar patrons by exceeding and anticipating guests’ expectations.
• All other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• One year bartending experience or degree from accredited bartender school preferred.
• Must have proven customer service abilities, excellent communication skills, good grasp of the English language, the ability to operate cash register, (POS system).
• Must have the knowledge and ability to mix a variety of cocktails. Will have extensive product knowledge of liquor, beer and wine and will be required to continue to expand on that knowledge as determined by management.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
