Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Columbus, OH, is seeking a bartender to expertly mix, dispense, and serve beverages, wines and beers, while delivering warm, guest-focused service.

You will maintain bar cleanliness, handle cash and POS transactions, and share extensive knowledge of liquors. One year bartending experience or bartender school preferred; must pass background check and comply with licensing.

Qualifications

• One year bartending experience or degree from accredited bartender school preferred.
• Must have proven customer service abilities, excellent communication skills, good grasp of the English language, the ability to operate cash register, (POS system).
• Must have the knowledge and ability to mix a variety of cocktails. Will have extensive product knowledge of liquor, beer and wine and will be required to continue to expand on that knowledge as determined by management.

What You Will Need

• Must be physically able to lift up to 30lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
