Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells is seeking a friendly Player Assistant / Starter to deliver a welcoming, efficient golf experience for all guests. You’ll greet players, announce tee times, and help keep play moving while upholding the Kalahari Promise to Lead with Love.

You will work with the golf staff to communicate course conditions, assist with pace of play, and support supervisors. A strong communicator with teamwork, reliability, and basic math skills will thrive in this

• Excellent communication skills in person.
• Ability to be a team player and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Possess good mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with golfers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Inform players of course conditions and local rules.
• Keep tee times moving on time and in an orderly manner.
• Communicate with the golf shop and maintain an up-to-date tee sheet.
• Track players and their speed of play.
• Coordinate with marshals on pace-of-play issues.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Player Assistant / Starter

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Player Assistant / Starter. In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectations golf experience for all guests. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Loveguiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacting with golfers in a friendly, helpful manner.


• Responsible for informing players of course conditions and local rules.


• Keep tee times moving on time and in an orderly manner.


• Communicate with the golf shop and keep up-to-date and accurate tee sheet.


• Track players and their speed of play.


• Communicate with marshals on course with any potential pace of play problems.


• Any additional tasks assigned by a manager and/or supervisor.
