Job summary

Iredell Health System in Statesville, NC is seeking a transport aide to move patients to Radiology, collect linens, and assist technologists with non-technical duties. The role supports patient flow and equipment handling in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Shift: M-F, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Prior radiology or patient care experience is preferred; high school diploma required; must lift up to 50 pounds.

• Previous Radiology and/or patient care experience desired.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Aids the technologist in radiographic film processing and other non-technical duties as required. Has no access to patient health information.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Previous Radiology and /or patient care experience desired.
• Has acquired experience or possesses appropriate capabilities as determined by the Director of Radiology.
• Moving patients, pushing wheelchairs and stretchers and lifting film processing supplies.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
