Job summary

A leading hospital in Spartanburg is seeking a patient transport specialist to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during transportation. Responsibilities include operating transport equipment, sanitizing all materials, and working within various hospital areas. Qualifications

  • CPR Certification will be provided through on-the-job training.

Job Requirements

Position Summary

Accurately and efficiently transports patients, wheelchairs, and stretchers to and from nursing units and ancillary departments. Uses transport equipment correctly. Cleans transportation equipment, participates in transportation equipment maintenance. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission and vison of Spartanburg Medical Center.

  • Must be able to discharge/transfer patients and push wheelchairs and stretchers.
  • Must be able to manipulate equipment
