Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Wooster, OH is seeking a state-certified nursing assistant to support residents with daily activities and transportation to appointments, while maintaining safety and dignity. The role includes assisting residents to and from the vehicle, ensuring proper paperwork is completed prior to leaving the facility, and providing friendly, responsive care.

Qualifications

• State-approved nursing assistant or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must complete drug testing and breath alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments safely.
• Assist with loading and unloading residents from the vehicle.
• Ensure proper paperwork is provided before leaving the facility.
• Escort residents to appointments as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and interact with residents, visitors, staff and the health care community.
