Saint Clare’s Health in Denville, NJ, is seeking a Radiology Transporter for a per diem role. You will transport patients to and from Radiology, assist with darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, and provide clerical support in the department.

The position requires basic patient handling and strong courtesy for patients and visitors. Eligible applicants must have a High School diploma or equivalent and BCLS (AHA) certification at hire, with transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The following statements are intended to describe the major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an all inclusive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required, of an individual assigned to this job. The Radiology Transporter transports patients to and from the Radiology Department. Other duties include but are not limited to; Darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients and front office duties. This performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients. Other duties include, but are not limited to, filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Radiology Transport/Aide should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology person should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner. Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.

Pay Transparency

Saint Clare’s Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $17.00/HR. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
