Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Utility EIT/Coordinator in Englewood, CO to support utility coordination on civil projects. You will assist with utility research, documentation, and coordination with owners throughout project delivery.

You will work with engineers and project teams, applying QA/QC guidelines, and help produce exhibits and client deliverables while maintaining schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Two years of experience in Transportation/Roadway/Utility is preferred.
• EIT certificate is preferred; candidates without it may be placed into a Design Coordinator track and work toward it.
• Ability to read/interpret civil transportation plans and utility installation/adjustment plans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate utilities with project team and owners to identify and mitigate risks.
• Research utility records, obtain maps, and prepare contact lists.
• Coordinate and assist with SUE investigations performed by HDR or subconsultants.
• Identify conflicts and assist in coordinating resolution via design changes or relocations.
• Assist with wet and dry utility design and production of related client deliverables.
