Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Utility EIT/Coordinator to support utility coordination for civil projects in Colorado. You will assist with utility records research, SUE coordination, utility conflicts resolution, and preparation of exhibits and client deliverables.

Strong communication and familiarity with MicroStation/AutoCAD are desired. Full-time, on-site role with opportunity to contribute to major transportation projects and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Two years of related experience in Transportation/Roadway/Utility industries.
Proficiency with MicroStation and AutoCAD; familiarity with Open Roads Designer and Civil 3D.
Strong communication skills and ability to read civil plans and utility drawings.

Responsibilities

Coordinate utility owners and project team to identify and mitigate utility risks.
Research utility records and prepare contact lists.
Coordinate SUE investigations and related activities.
Identify conflicts and assist with resolution through design or relocation.
Assist with utility design and client deliverables like plans and exhibits.
Support field coordination during utility relocations.
Ensure QA/QC of plans, specs, and cost estimates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
