Job summary

Cherry Creek School District seeks a Transportation Trainer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of CDL and Non-CDL driver training for district transportation staff. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and district regulations and collaborates with Safety and Training leadership to advance trainee progression toward certification.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Two CDL driving years minimum.
• Must obtain and maintain ELDT, CPI, CPR/First Aid certifications within three months of hire.
• Proficiency in DOT, FMCSA, FMVSS, CDE, CDL compliance knowledge.
• Ability to train adult learners and evaluate trainee performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, development, and delivery of CDL and Non-CDL driver training.
• Coordinate and document training, certifications, and licensing activities.
• Plan and deliver ongoing safety and compliance training.
• Maintain compliance records for licensing, testing, and logs.
• Coordinate training schedules and monitor trainee progress.
• Assist with drug and alcohol testing program administration.
