St. Vrain Valley Schools' Transportation Services seeks a Driver Trainer to lead safety training and compliance for our bus fleet.

This 1.0 FTE position works eight hours per day across 248 days per year, supporting student transportation operations and safety standards. The role involves evaluating walking paths and bus stop locations, responding to emergencies, maintaining vehicles, and coaching staff on CDL regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates safe walking paths and distances
• Evaluates traffic issues and patterns
• Responds around the clock to emergencies involving school buses and support fleets
• Evaluates bus stop locations
• Maintains buses and support fleet vehicles
• Monitors and trains coaches and teachers using Suburbans or minibusses
• Trains staff who hold Commercial Drivers Licenses to ensure compliance with federal regulation
