Job summary

The Design Bureau at State of Iowa seeks a Technology Integration Specialist (Management Analyst 3) to align and advance digital tools and technology strategies for highway improvement projects statewide. This role reports to the Design Bureau Director and collaborates with the Transportation Development Division Director to ensure interoperable, modernized solutions across bureaus and partners.

Qualifications

Four-year degree from an accredited college/university and three years of related work experience.
Total four years of education and/or full-time experience with 30 semester hours = 1 year.
Total four years of education and/or full-time experience plus 24 graduate hours = 1 year.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning and optimization of software applications, focusing on Bentley and related tools.
Coordinate with automation teams to improve software functionality and productivity.
Align technology solutions across staff, districts, and partners to reduce inefficiency.
Serve as liaison between Iowa DOT and Bentley for coordination of software modernization.
Analyze workflows and identify training needs for users, recommending system enhancements.
Establish and maintain shared data standards across development teams and oversee version testing.
