Job summary

The Hubach Group, based in Pooler, GA, seeks a Drayage Planner to execute and optimize the daily drayage plan for Savannah-area operations. You will coordinate with the Logistics Planner and Director of Operations to allocate resources and meet customer requirements.

Ideal candidates offer port experience, container handling expertise, and a commitment to clear communication and continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting. This is a full-time on-site role supporting a growing logistics team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on port/drayage experience required.
• Experience with refrigerated and dry containers is preferred.

Execute the daily drayage plan for one of the premier logistics providers in Savannah serving one of the busiest ports in the country. You'll be the key link between drivers, port terminals, and customers — keeping high-volume operations moving on time, every day. This role suits someone who's organized, thrives under pressure, and wants to be part of a winning team — someone who stays calm, communicates clearly, and genuinely enjoys executing (and improving) a daily operations plan.

What You'll Do

• Build the daily drayage plan alongside the Logistics Planner and Director of Operations, allocating resources to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Own the day: track port activity, terminal congestion, driver performance, and equipment issues in real time, adjusting on the fly to accomplish the day’s operating plan.
• Keep communication clear, concise and understood across customers, drivers, and the office.
• Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and driver satisfaction — and get a little better every day.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with Port of Savannah operations.
• Refrigerated and dry container experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset focused on customer and driver satisfaction.
• Proficiency with TMS and Excel; Samsara experience a plus.
• A team player who can help develop a high-performing drayage team alongside company management.
