Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead a team of drivers, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate deliveries while following DOT regulations and routing procedures.

You will review driver logs, hours of service, and work with distribution center teams to coordinate activities and meet delivery commitments. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), 1 year of transportation management experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and truck

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• AS/400 experience preferred.
• Truck routing software experience preferred.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• English reading/writing proficiency for job-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of drivers to ensure safe, timely, and accurate deliveries and adherence to routing procedures.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements for compliance.
• Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle additional duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
