We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Supervisor for night shifts at Core-Mark International. This role involves managing daily transportation operations, leading a team of drivers, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and optimizing delivery efficiency.

Work Schedule and Compensation:
- Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 without CDL A and 2+ years driving experience + 10% bonus; $75,000 – $85,000 with a current CDL A and at least 2 years' experience, with potential to serve as a delivery driver as needed.
Position Summary:
Manage transportation operations, ensure timely deliveries, oversee driver supervision, monitor DOT compliance, and implement strategies to enhance transportation efficiency. Strong leadership, logistics knowledge, and a commitment to service are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff, including staffing, training, coaching, and performance management. Assist with scheduling and ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Conduct driver training and evaluations.
- Support daily transportation activities, including payroll, trip logs, expense reports, and compliance with regulations. Use fleet management systems effectively.
- Monitor vehicle safety, conduct safety meetings, and ensure proper vehicle maintenance and safety practices.
- Track driver-related information and ensure accurate paperwork for deliveries and compliance.
- Coordinate routing and operational expenses to improve efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with transportation management software and route planning tools.
- Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 2-4 years of transportation experience, including DOT regulations and fleet management systems.
- At least 1 year of supervising a team of 10-15 drivers.
