Position Details

Position Title: Bookstore Remote Event Team Lead

Student Status: Work Study Optional – You are not required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position.

Work Location: Springfield Campus

Department: Bookstore

Hiring Range: $15.00

Sponsorship Information: Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for any employer. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.

Operating Hours: Varies depending on events.

Hours per week: 20+ hours

Main Duties
  • Coach, develop, and train a team of student employees to meet customer needs and store goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and guide student employees.
  • Create a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
  • Ensure proper staffing during business hours and adherence to procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism in appearance, conduct, and judgment.
  • Oversee game day operations, merchandise, cleanliness, and vendor relationships.
  • Handle customer concerns, emergencies, and disruptions appropriately.
  • Provide input on merchandise reordering and expiration.
  • Promote cultural respect and skill development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to store success.
