Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. seeks a Transportation Supervisor to directly supervise a group of Drivers at the Memphis DC. You will ensure safe, timely deliveries and maintain compliance with DOT regulations while coordinating with other departments to optimize routing and dispatch processes.

You will review logs, hours, and regulatory requirements, and may participate in special projects as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation management in food distribution preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries to customers using routing and dispatch knowledge.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements for compliance.
• Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• This position may have additional duties and be assigned to special projects.
