McLane Company, Inc. in Arlington, TX is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead a team of Drivers, ensure safe and timely deliveries, and maintain compliance with DOT rules.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1 year in transportation management in food distribution, knowledge of routing software, and strong Microsoft Office skills; Bachelor's preferred. The position is full-time with Day shift on-site and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• AS/400 experience is preferred.
• Truck routing software experience preferred.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Basic competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• English reading/writing at a level to perform tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to customers with safe, timely routing and dispatch procedures.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and DOT requirements for compliance.
• Coordinate activities with distribution center departments for accurate deliveries.
• Perform additional duties and take on special projects as assigned.
