McLane Company, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee delivery operations and ensure safe, on-time meals for customers.

You will supervise a team of drivers, review logs, hours of service, and DOT compliance while coordinating with distribution center departments. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of transportation management experience in food distribution, knowledge of DOT regulations, and familiarity with AS/400 and truck routing software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• AS/400 experience preferred.
• Truck routing software experience preferred.
• Able to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• English reading/writing proficiency required for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries to customers via routing systems and dispatch procedures.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.
