Job summary

Vistar seeks a Transportation Supervisor to oversee drivers, training, and compliance for safe, timely deliveries. You'll support DOT logs, coordinate driver information, and contribute to efficient routing and cost control.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, handling payroll review, and ensuring paperwork accuracy. This role requires leadership in a fast-paced logistics environment with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience operating computerized fleet management systems.
• Supervisory experience in transportation.
• Experience in transportation or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff including staffing, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Assists in scheduling deliveries and pickups to ensure timely service.
• Rides with drivers for training and evaluation purposes.
• Manages day-to-day admin tasks: payroll review, trip logs, expense reports.
• Ensures DOT and OpCo compliance and maintains safety practices.
