Job summary

Transervice Logistics is seeking a Safety Supervisor (DOT) to oversee DOT, FMCSA and OSHA safety compliance across operations. You will lead investigations, review ELD logs, and coach drivers while ensuring regulatory adherence and safe practices.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3+ years in transportation safety with strong communication and analytical skills. This is an on-site, Sunday-Thursday DAYS schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of transportation safety, fleet operations, commercial driving, occupational safety, compliance, or risk management experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA requirements, hours-of-service rules, ELD records, accident response, driver qualification files, OSHA/shop safety, and regulatory compliance audit practices.
• Experience conducting accident investigations, driver coaching, safety training, file audits, field observations, and objective corrective-action documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute safety and compliance programs, standards and SOPs adapting to local risk and customer requirements.
• Monitor compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA standards and company policy.
• Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, injuries, vehicle events and near misses with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate post-accident notifications, testing, documentation and follow-up actions per regulations.
• Review hours-of-service and ELD records, coach drivers and supervisors, track corrective actions.
• Conduct risk-based safety observations and document findings, elevate deficiencies.
• Support OSHA and shop safety inspections and trainings with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and document safety training for drivers and staff.
• Coach safe behaviors with Operations & Maintenance leadership and span of control.
