Position Details

Location: Spring Hill, Florida

Your Role in Our Success

The Supervisor will promote and ensure a safe operation of all vehicles/equipment and develop a safety-first culture within the company and fleet of Marlin Gas Services.

Responsibilities

1. Implement fleet programs aligned with company goals; act as a point of contact for Hazmat drivers regarding questions, maintenance, or related information.
2. Develop long-term planning strategies for fleet budgets, cost containment, and reductions.
3. Manage and monitor fleet using various management services and GPS tracking systems.
4. Ensure daily operations meet service and efficiency standards.
5. Coordinate fleet operations with technicians and dispatch teams.
6. Ensure compliance with DOT and other regulations.
7. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
8. Maintain automated systems for tracking maintenance, inventory, and costs.
9. Develop repair estimates and stay updated on vehicle technology.
10. Inspect maintenance, repairs, and new vehicle deliveries.
11. Oversee fleet compliance and permits.
12. Supervise safety procedures for fleet maintenance workers.
13. Prepare reports, review driver paperwork, and communicate policies.
14. Be available for emergency support outside core hours.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience as a driver/fleet manager or supervisor managing over 50 vehicles, primarily Class A.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of federal DOT, safety, and transportation regulations.
• CDL experience is a plus.
• Ability to solve problems and improve performance.
• Ability to work closely with internal departments.

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based with occasional travel.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, climbing stairs, and manual dexterity.
• Availability for outside support outside core hours.
