Job Summary and Qualifications

The Provider Credentialing Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the credentialing team, ensuring compliance with regulatory, state, federal, and accreditation standards. You will coordinate onboarding functions in accordance with departmental policies, working directly with medical staff offices, providers, and external clients to ensure satisfaction and timeliness. You will monitor performance measures and ensure continuous improvement.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Lead and develop the performance of a team of associates.
  • Handle escalated issues.
  • Provide performance reports to key stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate projects to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Perform audit procedures to review transactions, documents, and compliance.
  • Oversee multiple departmental functions and work with various departments.
  • Develop corrective action recommendations.
  • Prepare audit summaries for departmental review.
  • Track and analyze employee performance trends.
  • Report irregularities and violations of standards.
  • Work independently and adhere to information security policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university plus 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
  • Deep knowledge of credentialing processes.
  • Ability to manage audit processes and remote teams.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
