TRANSPORTATION/SUPERVISOR (Finance)

Assist in overseeing and executing daily operations in the transportation department. Understand total distribution, transportation, and store operations, with an emphasis on carrier supply chain programs to reduce product costs. Coordinate activities of third-party vendors. Responsible for the safety, productivity, and engagement of hourly associates, supporting transportation, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Minimum qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in Transportation, Distribution, or Manufacturing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding of D.O.T. compliance laws
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions
• Experience coaching and training others
• Ability to collaborate effectively in teams
• Knowledge of industry/technical terms and processes

Desired qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years experience leading teams or projects
• Supervise and develop non-exempt associates in daily operations
• Maintain on-time deliveries with a positive, friendly approach
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate schedules and deliveries
