Location: Homestead, PA
Schedule: 6:30am-4pm Monday - Friday
Summary of Job Duties:
The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for supervising and training transportation staff, coordinating daily duties to follow participant Plans of Care, communicating with other departments, solving problems, and ensuring compliance with Community LIFE policies, procedures, and regulations. They oversee daily transportation operations to ensure safe transport of participants and coordinate transportation services requested by the Interdisciplinary Team. The supervisor must have the skills to assess, plan, and provide services to frail elders according to Community LIFE standards. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team (doctors, social workers, nurses, coordinators, and caregivers) to create an optimal environment for participants.
Required Education: High school Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in transportation planning, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of one year of experience in transportation/logistics; supervisor/lead experience required; proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; a skills test will be administered.
Required Certifications/Licensure: Valid PA driver’s license with no recent infractions; ability to obtain a public passenger’s license and pass a DOT Physical.
