Job summary

First Student in North Charleston is seeking a Transportation Field Supervisor to oversee driver performance, monitor inspections, and support safety compliance. This role involves dispatching routes as needed and participating in driver interviews.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 1–2 years of supervisory experience. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected. English proficiency is required with DOT safety and drug testing compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors driver pre and post trip inspections and equipment issues and takes corrective action.
• Performs driver road checks and observes drivers for work readiness.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Prior School Bus Driver experience preferred
