Stanley Consultants, a leading global engineering firm, seeks a Structural Department Manager in West Palm Beach, FL. Hybrid role combining leadership of a seasoned team with hands-on project direction in transportation structures.

The successful candidate will drive growth, mentor staff, and oversee project scoping, budgeting, and quality control. Requires an MS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 15+ years of experience, Florida PE, and strong leadership, communication, and proposal skills.

Qualifications

• MS in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years at the Project Manager level.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.
• Recent relevant structural design experience for Florida DOT and local projects.
• Expertise with bridge design contracts and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and grow a Florida transportation structural market team.
• Lead transportation structural projects and plan development for diverse designs.
• Determine staffing and hiring needs for the group.
• Collaborate with leadership on growth strategies and proposals.
• Prepare reports, schedules, cost estimates, and designs; perform QA/QC.
• Coordinate priorities and client communications throughout projects.
