Who we are looking for:

The Sr. Account Manager, Transportation has a high level understanding of ACV customers to deliver value added Transportation services based on their needs and expectations. This role will collaborate and partner with all ACV Sales Teams as well as Transport Operations and Business Operations. The primary responsibility will be to retain and win new transport orders from existing ACV customers and external customers. The role will coordinate with the existing account coverage to build relationships, pitch transport, and close deals.

Remote / Travel

This role is remote but candidates that can be in the Buffalo, NY office at least 2 days a week are preferred. Occasional corporate travel to customers may be required up to 20%. For candidates not in Buffalo, additional travel will be required to the Buffalo, NY office.

What you will do:

  • Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop strategies to retain and grow the client base for ACV Transportation, including winning back customers and adding new customers.
  • Develop strategies to increase customer volume to ACV Transport services outside of ACV Auctions.
  • Identify client needs and partner with ACV stakeholders to deliver results exceeding expectations.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert for programs with major dealer groups.
  • Establish relationships with internal teams to navigate customer needs.
  • Use marketing tools and data reports to track success.
  • Act as main contact for key clients to drive deal enablement and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain relationships with key customers and communicate via various channels.
  • Execute sales campaigns and initiatives.
  • Coordinate internally to secure customer meetings, craft pitches, and close deals.
  • Leverage follow-ups and cross-functional resources to drive wins.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs.
  • Document activities and strategies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 3+ years in B2B/SMB sales or account management.
  • Strong communication skills across functions.
  • Problem-solving skills, business acumen, collaboration, self-motivation.
  • Reliable self-starter capable of thriving independently.
  • Experience with CRM software (preferably Salesforce).
  • Experience in automotive or transportation industry a plus.
  • Ability to analyze trends and variances for business metrics.
  • Knowledge of ACV products/services a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Google, Salesforce, etc.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable to change.
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, with potential incentives. Final offer based on experience, skills, location, and other factors.
