Who we are looking for:

The Sr. Account Manager, Transportation, will understand ACV customers to deliver value-added transportation services, collaborating with sales, operations, and business teams to retain and grow accounts, and win new transport orders.

This role is remote with preferred presence in the Buffalo, NY office at least 2 days a week. Occasional travel up to 20% is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Support efforts to enhance customer experience
  • Develop strategies to retain and grow the client base
  • Innovate to increase customer volume outside of ACV Auctions
  • Identify client needs and partner with stakeholders to deliver results
  • Serve as SME during major dealer program rollouts
  • Build relationships across departments to navigate customer needs
  • Utilize marketing tools and data reports for success tracking
  • Act as main contact for key clients, ensuring service satisfaction
  • Maintain relationships via various communication channels
  • Execute sales campaigns and initiatives
  • Coordinate to present to customers and secure transport orders
  • Use follow-ups and cross-functional resources to drive wins
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs
  • Document activities and strategies
  • Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • High School Diploma required
  • 3+ years in B2B/SMB sales or account management
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and business acumen
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience with CRM software (preferably Salesforce)
  • Automotive or transportation industry experience is a plus
  • Ability to analyze business metrics and trends
  • Knowledge of ACV products/services is beneficial
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce, etc.
  • Team player adaptable to change

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, plus incentives. Final salary depends on experience, skills, location, and market factors.
