Job summary

CJ Logistics is hiring a Sales Executive focused on Transportation growth solutions. You’ll represent CJ at events, manage RFPs, and drive lead generation for contracted logistics services.

Expect a base salary discussion around $100k–$120k with annual incentives, with travel up to 40% and a hybrid work schedule. You’ll develop strategies for WM/TM, pursue new opportunities, and cross-sell services across Transportation Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Cold Chain, and VAS.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in client-facing business development or account management.
• Track record of securing sales contracts worth $1M+ annually.
• Bachelors in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Ability to interact with diverse management levels and advocate for the customer.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities in key industry verticals for contracted logistics services.
• Develop sales strategies for WM and TM to meet revenue targets.
• Prospect, network, research, and generate leads.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships for loyalty.
• Cross-sell Transportation Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Cold Chain, Value-Added Services.
• Analyze market trends and competitors to inform strategy.
• Manage RFPs and prepare tailored presentations.
• Collaborate with operations and marketing for flawless execution.
• Provide regular updates on sales performance and market insights.
• Travel 2–3 trips per month; travel time ~40%, rest from home.
