Job summary

HDR in Round Rock, TX seeks a Transportation Professional Services Leader to drive technical and business excellence across the Business Group, ensuring project profitability, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction.

You will guide staff development, oversee project oversight, QA/QC initiatives, and collaborate with market sector leaders on workload, fee development, and strategic initiatives to advance HDR's service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or closely related field.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Professional engineering registration active.
• Ability to lead diverse teams; commitment to HDR values.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, monitor, and improve technical competencies of Business Group staff.
• Assist with daily operations, including project oversight, management reviews, financials, and profitability.
• Lead quality assurance efforts to implement QA/QC Program activities and continuous improvement.
• Review hiring needs, requisitions, and offers as delegated by the Business Group Manager.
• Work with market sector leads on workload projections and coordinate workload sharing with other Groups.
• Lead and participate in project reviews, manage claims and losses, and support RevRec meetings.
